Historical industrial remnants and breathtaking gorge vistas define the Boxvale Tramway Walking Track as it winds through the lush bushland of the Southern Highlands. This rail trail follows the path of an 1880s tramway used to transport coal from the Nattai Gorge to the main line. As you meander along the level formation, you will pass through impressive rock cuttings and a 100-metre-long curved tunnel. The journey culminates at the Nattai Gorge lookout, offering a spectacular reward with views stretching over the wild river valley below.

This event is not wheelchair accessible, it is a rough walking track with uneven surfaces, rocks, steps and mud

Please contact the event organiser with any accessibility requests as early as possible so that suitable arrangements can be discussed and organised where possible.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
