The AUKUS nuclear-powered submarine deal with the United States is toxic. The Labor Government, together with the Coalition and One Nation, remains committed to this dud deal despite the growing public opposition.

More than half of Australians now want a more independent foreign and defence policy, while less than half of the public thinks that AUKUS makes Australia safer. With our future (not to mention $375 billion) on the line, there is a lot to lose with this AUKUS deal, especially with Trump calling the shots.

This free event gives the community the chance to hear directly from highly regarded experts who will present facts and context to help inform the community and broaden our knowledge on these critical foreign policy issues.

Join UTS Professor Wanning Sun, Greens Federal Senator David Shoebridge and USyd's Dr. David Brophy to unpack the real cost of AUKUS,
