Come join us for a picnic in the park to connect, make new friends and take action.

At a time when so much is happening in the world, things are tougher than ever. While billionaires, corporations and warmongers rake in skyrocketing profits, it’s getting harder for people to pay their bills, rent, and mortgages. The far-right is feeding off this suffering by falsely blaming migrants for every problem and spreading hate and division.

This far-right agenda is funded by billionaires to maintain their profits, power and supremacy, so let’s eat the rich! Let’s not let them distract us from dismantling neo-libralism and capitalism.

Real change has always come from community, solidarity, and standing up together. I know things can seem overwhelming, so why not get together, have a yarn, listen to each other, make new friends and mull over what we can do.

Let’s channel our rage and love to tap into all that’s good in people and build momentum for care, kindness and collective good.

Come join us for a picnic in the park on Saturday 9th May, 2pm at Addi Rd Community Organisation.

We’ll have vegetarian food and drinks but feel free to bring along a plate to share. BYO picnic blanket.

Whether you’re deeply engaged in politics or just curious and keen to listen and connect, everyone is welcome. Please bring along friends, housemates, furry friends, and your little humans.
